Desired size and quantity of reinforcement for building project
Reinforcement plays a crucial role for reinforced concrete members like footings, beams, columns, slabs, lintels etc. Calculation of reinforcement quantity should be started before tendering phase to work out estimated cost of project or construction work.
Go through the following table to obtain the estimated quantities of reinforcement and its size which are very essential for different building projects:
All the steel described above are round tapered steel. This data will be applied for measuring the quantity of steel for different RCC works. There is no information for the necessity of actual steel for all the members. Requirement of actual quantity of steel will be estimated from the drawings which are arranged once the structural design is completed.
