How to make structural analysis of statically determinate beams

This construction video is created to shed light on process for examining statically determinate beams.

Definition of statically determinate beam: Beam is called as statically determinate when its unidentified reactions are measured with only equilibrium equations.

Analysis Of Statically Determinate Beams: In order to start analysis, initially, it is required to produce a free body diagram of the beam that demonstrates applied loads and unidentified reactions.

Once the free body diagram is completed, equilibrium equations are used to obtain unidentified reactions. In this video, solutions for two examples are given.

Next step includes drawing Shear force and Bending moment diagram. In order to know how to draw SFD and BMD, go through the following link :- civilengineeringdaily.com
