This programme provides students with a rigorous understanding of the principles and practices involved in a quantity surveying role applicable to an international context up to Bachelor's degree standard.
The programme provides the academic underpinning necessary to prepare students for a career as a professional surveyor recognised by RICS, and/or other related international professional bodies.
The programme is primarily designed for people employed in a quantity surveying role, such as in a private QS practice, construction company, building contractor or government organisation. Such employment is not mandatory, but is desirable.
Award:
If you successfully complete all elements of the programme, you will be awarded the BSc Quantity Surveying from the College of Estate Management and will be entitled to use the designatory letters BSc. You will be entitled to denote Honours if applicable, i.e. BSc (Hons), which is a current requirement for Membership of RICS, CIOB and HKIS.
