BIG has unveiled designs for the Lego Visitor Centre in Billund, the birthplace of the Lego Group in Denmark.
The experience centre, named Lego house, is made up of stacked blocks that resemble gigantic Lego bricks with a series of rooftop gardens.
The building will include 7600sq m of exhibition space, a cafe, Lego store and a large public square.
Hans Peter Folmann of Lego said: “The creative use of the Lego brick shape is a true visualization of the systematic creativity that is at the core of Lego play, so we believe that this is the right look for the Lego House. And it simply looks amazing.”
